DUSTIN ELLIS

SCREENWRITING

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Dustin began his career in animation with working on "The Iron Giant" with Brad Bird.

After this successful project Dustin worked on number of pilots at Nickelodeon Animation Studios, including "Kung Fu Panda", "Quard and the Fleeps", and "Robot and Monster". He has also worked on development of "Osmosis Jones at Warner Brothers.

True entrepreneur by nature Dustin took a big chance and decided to produce his own project. He and his wife funded the direct-to-DVD cartoon, "Babak and Friends: A First Norooz", the first high quality animation produced for Iranians. The success of the project (which was featured on CNN, ABC News and screened at major museums around the world) let to the series "Mixed Nutz", that is airing on PBS.
